NIKE FLYKNIT RACER AND TRAINER [UPDATE]
LAUNCHED ON: July 25, 2012
UPDATE (October 3): Good news, Flyknit fans: The Nike Flyknit Racer and Nike Flyknit Trainer+ are back by popular demand. Worn by world-class athletes in competition this summer, the eye-catching Volt colorway of the Racer gained a following virtually overnight and the shoe (along with the Trainer version) sold out in record time.
Both running shoes will be available online again tomorrow, including four new colorways of the Nike Flyknit Trainer: Electric Green, Varsity Royal / Electric Green, Court Purple / Medium Violet and University Red / Electric Green. Just keep in mind that—like the elite runners who first sported the shoe on the world’s stage—you’d best move fast if you want to score.
ORIGINAL (July 25): Two highly anticipated new Nike running shoes will launch in just a few days, offering new technology for runners looking to push their pace to the next level.
Both the exceptionally lightweight Nike Flyknit Racer and the Nike Flyknit Trainer feature Nike Flyknit technology for structure, support and a precision fit that feels like a second skin. The one-piece knit uppers on these styles feature areas of stretch, breathability and support right where you need them, whether you’re an elite athlete or simply a fast runner looking for a fast shoe.
