In 1992, the Nike Tennis “burning ball” logo was created to represent the type of play that Nike stood for: fast, furious and unapologetic. Twenty years later, Nike is paying homage to the spirit that still burns bright with the Nike Tennis ‘Flame’ Pack. Made up of three shoes—the Nike Zoom Vapor 9 Tour, Nike Air Max Courtballistec 4.3 and Nike Zoom Breathe 2k12—the ‘Flame’ Collection takes the burning ball logo first featured on the Nike Air Tech Challenge and applies it to each shoe in the collection for the first time ever.

The only professional players allowed to wear the shoe are the top eight singles and top eight doubles players that qualify for the finals in London, including Roger Federer, who will wear the Nike Zoom Vapor 9 Tour. This marks the first time that Nike’s top men’s players will all be sporting the same colorway on the court.

Add a little fire to your game when the Nike Tennis ‘Flame’ Collection is released this Thursday, November 1.
